When There’ll Be No Tomorrow
Posted on September 16th, 2005 in Poem | No Comments »
You love insulting me,
mocking me and play
games with me.
Today, when I am with you,
you don’t value me.
And its not too far,
when i may leave.
And when there’ll be no tomorrow,
what, then, will you do
where will you go,
to find me again,
to win my love for you,
why, do you have to be,
such a fool.
Till this date,
I have put up with you.
Made compromises in
all shades and hue.
And so, I will,
continue to do.
No matter what you may do
I shall never leave, never go,
this I promise you.
And when there’ll be no tomorrow,
I will come back to you,
hold your hands, promise my love,
and kiss all your tears away.
I’ll never leave you to be alone,
I’ll never let you be aloof.
You are foolish, yes, you are
and I shall help you not to be,
such a fool.
I have paid the price,
you push me away,
you don’t see my love,
you want me to go,
but when there’ll be no tomorrow,
you’d realize, what you have done.
Alas, the reality of life,
whats done cant be undone.
You are a fool, and, so am I,
and so it is in this world,
everyone’s,
such a fool.
